Below are some of our favorite photos of the past 12 months !!!

Since it will soon be Blueberry picking season, we thought we would show you some scenes from last year....

Stomping Blueberries

Our Winemaker (above) providing the "Old Fashioned Technique" of turning perfectly ripe Blueberries into the best, most aromatic Blueberry Wine we have ever tasted !!!   (Notice how our camera flash suprised him.  He was getting into the Blueberry mood by listening to Gregorian Chants in the Dark !!!)

YES !!!  These are Blueberries, Up Close and Personal !!!  They are being stomped into submission to give-up their precious juice for your Wine !!

This is part of our Tasting Room set up for the infamous "Seneca Lake Bargain Bash" held in January of each year.  We always have over 100 cases of wine deeply discounted for this event.  Good wine of which we only have a few cases remaining.  Here you see some of the 30 different types of wine available.

People buy it by the case !!!

Lable Printing is an exacting business.  Here you can see our friends at AdFlex Printers in Rochester, NY spinning off our Seneca Shore labels on their Seven (7) station Flexographic Press.  Although the press has seen a lot of use, our labels are crisp, clean, and a lot of fun to make !!!

Our "Stone" (from France)  filling machine in action, bottling Queen Charlene's Dry Rose'. You can see the high preassure tanks of Nitrogen in the background. The wine bottles are filled with Nitrogen before the wine splashes into them, so as to reduce Oxygen pick-up. This keeps the wine fresh and fruity !!!

And our famous "Stone" Vacuum Corker.  As each bottle is raised for the cork to be inserted, a vacuum is pulled between the wine in the bottle and the bottom of the cork as it is being inserted.  This insures that there is the least amount of oxygen in contact with your wine upon bottling. This keeps the wine as fresh and fruity as possible.

Last but not least, each bottle is carefully inspected before being boxed and stacked on a pallet (behind Bob).  At 40 bottles per minute ( which is 3.3 cases / minute), Bob's job is one of the most demanding.  Others have tried to replace him, but too many bottles seem to explode upon hitting the concrete floor when Bob is not around...

We will later bring out each case of wine and use our OMB labeler to apply a label and capsule to each bottle before sale.  Some bottles, such as our very curvy Kylix Cuvee red wines, do not work in our label machine. For these bottles we bring out our Secret Weapon - Al The Label Man !! Al can be seen here ready to attack... with bottle in hand, and the label to be applied not far from his reach !!!

And no Photo Gallery would be complete without a scene from a Summer Wine Festival (Hudson Valley) of the Winemaker and his beautiful Bride !!!
